Faridah Tania S. Dairo is a student of the Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service at the University of San Agustin and a member of USA Publications, the official university press corps. Hailing from the Philippines, Tania embodies the famed Filipino character of hospitality and easy-goingness, able to find friends in all places and with an appreciation for different cultures and people, thus advocating for peace and a sustainable interconnected world for all.

Tania first discovered BCEA through one of her mentors in YSEALI, who shared with her the application for the 4th BCEA Summit as a fully-funded scholar through Shaping Iloilo. She was then assigned to the House of Temperentia as one of the group leaders, immersing herself in the different perspectives BCEA has to offer as it also hosts participants from ASEAN, China, Pakistan, Africa, and the USA.

Now, she has been invited to be with BCEA Global Engagement Team, something which excites her as she eagerly look forward to continually hear from BCEA experts on the field of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, public diplomacy, and many more as well as learning from the participants themselves who will always have something to bring from their countries.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching films and series, and even a bit of yoga and walking in the Iloilo River Esplanade, enjoying the quite scenery amidst the bustling demand of University.
