Krislyn Massey is a Masters student at University of North Texas, U.S.A., majoring in International Relations: Human Security. Born and raised in Texas, she has always been enamored with the diverse languages and cultures surrounding her since childhood. She discovered BCEA through a recommendation from a fellow Japan-America Student Conference delegate who had previously attended BCEA 3. She initially joined as a delegate from the U.S.A., but became a Group Leader that lead 4 other students in discussions. Additionally, she created a social project that won first place in BCEA with the cooperation of Melody Lau.
With BCEA, Krislyn has gained invaluable perspectives and experiences in becoming a better global citizen well versed in global intelligence. This experience showed her the many ways students could make a difference at their level. As a prominent student leader with a love for community engagement, Krislyn has assisted many on campus organizations designated to multiculturalism thrive, including laying the groundwork for reviving many student organizations dedicated to international relations. She also is an alumni of her campus spirit, service, and tradition organization “Talons”, and currently serves as a Public Safety Officer at her university. She enjoys interacting with animals, reading foreign novels, and engaging in war simulations and debates with her peers.
