PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program is BCEA’s public education program. The primary goal of the student forums is to bridge the gap between students and experts, providing students with the opportunity to learn and engage directly with leading figures in various fields. These forums aim to create a platform where students can gain insights, ask questions, and receive mentorship from experts, policymakers, and entrepreneurs. By facilitating these interactions, the forums empower the next generation, fostering their development as informed and active global citizens. At the same time, we aim to enrich public knowledge on that crucial topic in our daily life, as a global citizen

This Year’s Public Program Focuses on Four Key Topics:

Intercultural Dialogues and Understanding (Public Diplomacy & Peacebuilding)
This forum focuses on fostering mutual understanding and cultural exchange through discussions on citizen diplomacy, dialogue, and peacebuilding. The goal is to provide a platform where students can learn from experts about the importance of building bridges across cultures and promoting global cooperation. These forums will feature discussions on how individuals and communities can contribute to international relations and conflict resolution, preserving cultural heritage, and fostering intercultural understanding.

Sustainable Development and Social Advocacy (social issue)
This forum will address pressing social issues and sustainable development goals (SDGs). It aims to create a platform for students to engage with experts on topics like gender equality, refugee support, climate change, and environmental sustainability. These discussions will focus on how to rally collective efforts to tackle these global challenges and promote social advocacy.

Innovation and Technology
This forum will focus on the intersection of technology, innovation, and sustainability. It provides a platform for discussing how technological advancements can address global challenges and promote sustainable development. The goal is to inspire students to think creatively about the future and understand the role of innovation in building a resilient and sustainable society.

Youth Empowerment and Global Citizenship
This forum aims to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become active global citizens. It focuses on leadership development, mental health, and fostering a sense of global responsibility among youth. The goal is to equip students with the tools they need to lead, engage in global issues, and promote a culture of well-being and resilience.
